MONDAY

Fabrizia Verrecchia visited our school, she is a classical indian dancer She was accompanied by Neil Craig, her musician. Fabrizia performed at our assembly, she explained the intricate dance movements and told us that all dances portrayed stories.

Neil explained and demonstrated the use of the "tabla" (set of drums) and the singing bowl.

During the morning all Reception and Year 1 children took part in workshops where they had the opportunity to try for themselves the moves and some simple dances.
