Sensory environment

At St Rose's, we strive to create a learning environment that allows our pupils to thrive. We are proud to provide our pupils with a range of experiences outside the classroom. Please see below for more information.

Butterfly room

This was thanks to funding from our Parent Association and staff volunteers, our school has a sensory space. The room includes an emotions mat, bean bags and lots of sensory toys. It is a nurturing space for our pupils.

School Kitchen

We are blessed to have a school kitchen in our Nursery classroom where all pupils at St Rose's can enjoy learning how to cook healthy food.

Sensory garden

We grow herbs and plants that provide children with a range of textures and smell.
