The Good Shepherd After School Club
The Good Shepherd After School Club aims to provide convenient and timely after school childcare provision for pupils at St Rose’s Catholic Infants’ School, St Cuthbert Mayne Catholic School and other local schools. We aim to create a safe and child centred environment, where children can be creative, adventurous, learn and have fun.
The Club was established by a parent of a pupil at St Rose’s, who is a qualified Secondary School English Teacher. She saw that there was a need for additional childcare provision in the local area and decided to do something about it. Because of the owner’s background, the club has an educational focus, so there is help with reading, homework and educational tasks along with a selection of other activities. Good Shepherd is registered with Ofsted for 3-11 year olds and is based at Chaulden Community Centre, where children are transported via minibus. Childcare vouchers are accepted along with Tax Free Childcare.
If you are interested in registering your child or would like to have more information about the Club please email gshepherdclub@gmail.com or call 07534896953.
