History of Our School
St Rose's Catholic Voluntary Aided Infants' School, Boxmoor, was opened as a two-form entry school in April 1967. The Dominican Sisters built the school and taught in the school until July 2003.
A voluntary Nursery Class was set up in 1976 which was subsequently given Voluntary Aided Status in 1977.
The children attending St Rose's come from a wide catchment area spanning the five parishes of Boxmoor, Gadebridge, Chipperfield, Adeyfield, Grovehill and Highfield.
Each year thirty-two children are admitted to the Nursery class. Sixty children are admitted to the reception year group each year.
Westminster Diocese became the Trustees of the school in 1990.
Our Mission Statement clearly indicates the purpose, aims and philosophy of Education which takes place at St Rose's.
Our school motto is VERITAS, which means 'truth'.
