Sensory environment
Sensory environment
At St Rose's, we strive to create a learning environment that allows our pupils to thrive. We are proud to provide our pupils with a range of experiences outside the classroom. Please see below for more information.
Butterfly Room
This was thanks to funding from our Parent Association and staff volunteers, our school has a sensory space. The room is a quiet and calming space for our children with a sensory tent, coloured lighting and lots of sensory toys. It is a nurturing space for our pupils.
Forest learning
All of our children have the opportunity to access 'The Whispering Woods'. It offers opportunities that supports play, risk taking and exploration. It develops confidence and self-esteem in a natural setting.
