We are really looking forward to welcoming you and your child to St Catherine class, here at St Roses.

Please can we ask that you drop your child at the bottom of the ramp, outside the EYFS classroom. If you have any questions please feel free to ask during pick up or drop off.

Reading Books

In Reception school reading books are changed weekly. Your child will be allocated a book change day. Children will receive one guided reading book and one free read that is matched to their phonic ability. If there is no comment in your child's Reading Record we will assume you have not had a chance to read with your child. Please record the text title(s) in your child's reading record. 

 

 

P.E. DayOur P.E. day is Friday. Please ensure your child wears suitable footwear that are easy for them to run in on Fridays. Long hair needs to be tied back and earrings are not allowed to be worn in school at any time. 

 

Forest School

 

Our Forest School day is every other Friday morning.  Please make sure your child has their forest school kit (puddle suit) and wellies in school.
